Gerad talks about Emo and Comics

The vocalist from My Chemical Romance has no doubt that the new work of the band is really the best of the 3, that the band has already edited. « It was the album more well-thought and well-planned, and victory in many senses. It really separated us from emo stuff ["The Black Parade"] ».
The 'emo' - diminutive for emotional - is one of the styles which has been achieving more popularity in the USA, but Gerard denies any association with his band. To MCR's vocalist, «emo is just boring and is nothing but 'haircuts and jumps on stage'».
The lider of My Chemical Romance also talked about his solo project, the authory of a serie of comics called "The Umbrella Academy''. With illustrations by the brasilian Gabriel Bá, covers by James Jean, colours of Dave Stewart and lettering of Nate Piekos, the first collection has the edition booked for the 19th September, in USA, through Dark House Comics.
