My Chemical Romance spoke for the first time about the suicidal of Hannah Bond, an emo teenager of 13 years old, who recently hang herself, allegedly because of the songs of the band, which she used to listen to obsessively.
My Chemical Romance presented their condolences to the family in their website, and defend that they oppose to suicidal, and that one of their objectives is giving confort to their fans.
« The message and theme of our album "The Black Parade" is of hope and corage. Our lyrics talk about the search for strength to keep living in this difficult and painful times. The last song of our album says: '' I am not afraid to keep on living'' - a declaration about what the band thinks about human beings. »
